Project Overview
Creating a Vibrant Mixed-Use Hub with Retail, Restaurant, and Fuel Services.
Whitson was initially brought on by a private developer to provide scoping, budgeting, and design consultation for a new mixed-use development. As the project evolved, Whitson’s role expanded to full project execution, overseeing construction on a fast-tracked schedule.
This commercial development features a Shell gas station with a high-flow commercial cardlock system, an attached restaurant tenant (McDonald’s), and an additional retail building housing multiple tenants, including banks and container-style retailers.
Despite minor delays caused by utility tie-ins, Whitson successfully re-sequenced construction activities, allowing the project to open one month ahead of schedule. Both base buildings and associated tenant improvements were delivered on time and within budget, providing a fully operational, vibrant mixed-use hub for the community.
