Wastewater Pump Station Rehabilitations
Project Overview
Rehabilitating Essential Pump Stations without Disruption
This multi-site pump station rehabilitation project involved the complete modernization of two critical wastewater facilities in Edmonton, executed under continuous live flow conditions. The work included construction of a new force main, full mechanical and electrical system replacements, and structural upgrades—all while maintaining uninterrupted operation of essential infrastructure.
Working at extreme depths and within confined spaces, the team implemented innovative bypass and flow management solutions to safely navigate deteriorated systems, groundwater infiltration, and access constraints. Through careful coordination with key stakeholders and precise execution in high-risk environments, the project successfully extended the service life, reliability, and performance of these vital assets.
